Leek,scientific name: Allium porrum
Originated in central and southern Europe, cultivated in parts of China.
The main nutrients of leek are protein, sugar, vitamin A (mainly contained in green onion leaves), dietary fiber and minerals such as phosphorus, iron and magnesium. Each 100 grams of raw leek contains 83% water, and contains 1.5 grams of protein and 14 grams of carbohydrates, providing 255.3 kilojoules of heat. Leek can be used for sterilization, diuresis, and prevention. It also has a cleansing effect on the digestive system. The leek also has the effect of increasing appetite and lowering blood fat.
